Pair of adjoining barns. Late C18 with a later extension.
Limestone rubble with squared and dressed quoins; stone slate and
asbestos slate roofing. C18 barn on the east: rectangular in plan
with a projecting porch in the south side; later extension to the
west gable end, also with a projecting porch on the south. Stable
block at the east gable end not of special interest. Southern
elevation: central gabled projecting porch with double plank doors
and a relieving arch to the early barn; similar porch towards the
gable end of the later extension. North (roadside) elevation
double doorways to early barn and to the later extension; stone
slate lean-to canopies on brackets over the doorways; ventilation
slits; hipped gable end to the extension..
