GV II

Double barn adjoining stable block (q.v.). Late C18. Random
limestone with dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof. Rectangular
plan with two projecting porches flanked by lean-to extension on
the south side. South elevation: two 2-storey porches with double
plank doors each with a relieving arch and a keystone. Single-
light and 2-light casements to the return walls at first floor
level; plank door to the left-hand lean-to; two C20 three-light
casements and C20 plank door to the central lean-to. Ventilation
slits. Roadside front: two double plank doors with timber lintels
and relieving arches with keystones. Owl hole at the west gable
end. Half-hipped porch gables and gable ends.
Interior: 6 bays with the original collar and tie beam roof trusses
with double purlins (one with 'V' struts).
