GV II

One of two cottages, probably originally one building (q.v. Tally
Cottage). Mid C17. Limestone rubble; stone slate roof; early
ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan with a later lean-to on the north-
west gable end. 1 1/2 storey, 2-windowed garden front lit by single-
light and 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements;
single 2-light slate-hung roof dormer. C20 part-glazed door to the
lean-to. Roadside front: chimney to forward facing right-hand
gable; 2-light casement with concrete lintel to the ground floor;
2-light casement with a timber lintel above; C20 plank door with a
glazed pane at the top and a gabled canopy with stone slate roof
left. Gable-end and axial stack both with moulded cappings.
