(Street Farm)


Dwelling, formerly farmhouse. C17. Rubble, some brick on east side, roof mainly
stone slate, but some concrete facsimile, and some double roman tile. L-plan, plus
extensions east and west of the southern arm, and later full height extension of one
bay in gable to street; three brick stacks at original outer gables. Two storeys
plus attic, 2-windowed main arm and 1-windowed return, cross wood casements with
glazing bars under wood lintols, one hipped dormer on return wing and 2-light
casements, one with leading, to roof space in gables. Late C20 glazed door, right.
Interior: large open fireplace with bressumer cut through in wing towards road, and
similar in return wing right with by-pass flue with staircase recess. Beams in
extension of main block towards road reputed to have come from Saul Church.
