Detached dwelling. Late C18. Rendered front, pointed rubble or pointed brick returns
and wing, Welsh slate roof to plain wood modillion cornice. L-plan, with narrow wing
return, right. Main block two storeys, 3-windowed, two canted bays, sashes without
bars, ground floor, three sashes with glazing bars under stepped voussoirs, first
floor; central modern door, flat fluted pilasters and 'Doric' doorcase with steep
open pediment. In return gable, left, two very small openings to roof space. In
narrow wing, right, one windowed, sahses with glazing bars, including arched headed
with radial bars to first floor. Large back wing includes C19 sashes with bars.

This property is raised well above the pavement and set back, groups with Beechwood
House (q.v.) and Sandpits House (q.v.).
