Fieldlane Farmhouse

Farmhouse, now dwelling and office. Early C18. Cut and squared stone, double roman
tile roof. L-plan with wing having coped gables, 3 brick stacks to return wing, one
part stone stack in short back wing. Original entrance front, to south, two storeys
and attic, 3+1 windowed, 2 or 3-light casements under wood lintols in wing but under
stone drips to gable, central modern door under modern gabled porch; 2-light casement
to gable roof, left, and louvred lights to cheese-loft in gabled wing.

Interior: various stopped chamfered beams, and in gabled wing, back, chamfered
joists. Modern stair, but in half-cylindrical shaft which projects externally in part
at back, includes one 2-light window.
