II


Large detached dwelling. Early C18. Coursed squared marlstone, moulded wood eaves
cornice, stone slate hipped roof. A compact block with two stacks in brick on back
wall; parallel range in brick, late C18, at back. Two storeys and attics, 5-windowed,
sashes without bars under segmental heads. Three hipped 2-light casement dormers,
return gable has two sashes with glazing bars; central 6-panel door with
semgnetal-headed plain transome light under shell hood on consoles. Back wing has
sashes under brick rubbed voussoirs.

Interior: C18 shutters and panelled doors in architraves.
