Dwelling. Early C17. Squared and coursed limestone, concrete tile roof.
Steep-roofed cross-gabled main block with gable brick stacks at back, plus slightly
lower service wing at back. Main front in three storeys but with blank elliptical
oculi to apex of gables, one window to each gable, then four at first floor and two at
ground floor, all 2-light stone mullioned under drip courses, plus, ground floor,
left, late C20 window; centrally, C20 door. Left gable, oculus over one, two and two
2-light casements to wood lintols, right gable, oculus, and two 2-light casements
under wood lintols, ground floor only. Back wing various casements, and further C20
entrance left of north gable.
Interior: main 'parlour', fireplace with heavy moulded mantel over 3 triglyph
consoles and moulded surround; in service wing great open fire with bread oven,
moulded bressumer. Various chamfered or moulded beams; fine original roof structure.
