Humphrey Wind memorial,

GV perch at Church of St
John the Evangelist

Chest tomb. Mid C18. Limestone. A good baroque design with cyma and roll top and
cavetto base, ΒΌ baluster and rich cartouche ends, raised mould rectangular inscription
panels, set on broad stylobate. HUMPHREY WIND (?inscription difficult to decipher),
177-; the memorial is of a design earlier than this date suggests. At time of
survey, collapsing.
