Barn. C18. Marlstone rubble, stone slate roof. A plain gabled building with no cart
entrances, but blocked panel on south wall may have been entry formerly; building is
set with its long axis across the slope of the site. Scattered openings, mainly with
wood lintols, and larger two-door opening, off-centre, left, north face, segmental
voussoired head. 5-bay, 2-purlin collar truss; mostly in two floors, one light
timber-framed partition. The property at time of survey attached to Melksham Court
(q.v.) and not to the adjacent Lamport Court (q.v.).
