Gate piers, steps and
gate to Overend House

II


Gate piers, steps and gate. C18 and C19. Limestone piers, cast iron gate. Piers
flanking 1.8 m wide opening are square with two fielded panels to faces moulded base
and capping including ball finials, but latter and much of piers concealed by heavy
ivy at time of survey. Two semi-circular steps to small C19 east iron gate with fixed
side panel, cl.2 m high, and two further steps beyond and one at door to house.
