Old Mill House

II


Detached dwelling. Early C19. Squared and coursed limestone, welsh slate wide span
roof, stone gble stacks. Main facade faces away from road, towards Rockstowes Mill
(q.v.): two storeys, 3-windowed, sashes with glazing bars in plot-band surrounds with
small keystones, central 6-panel door with radial fanlight in plat-band surround.
Street elevation, sashes with bars, including long round-headed central staircas
window, and modern door off-centre, left. Two-windowed gable return. This was
probably the house of one of the Mill Masters.
