Small detached house. C17. Timber-frame on limestone plinth;
rendered and painted brick infill panels; brick chimney; thatched
roof. Single-storey with attic; chimney with single-storey outshut
beyond at south west end; 2 room with cross passage. Small framing
to front elevation with scattered fenestration; 2 principal bays;
straight bracing between posts and wall-plate; mid height rail
position adjusted to frame-up 3 timber casements to ground floor
with blocked doorway off centre; single thatched dormer; painted
brick to lower panels with rendered panels above; thatch has
scalloped decoration at ridge. Small framing to hipped end with 2
timber casements. Single-window fenestration to north east gable
end: C20 in rendered brickwork to ground floor with small framing
above, braced as on front; small attic casement.
Interior not inspected. C20 addition at back is not of special
interest.
