4/73 Church House Farmhouse

GV II

Detached farmhouse. Early C17. Timber framed; roughcast render;
rebuilt brick chimneys; plain tile roof. L-plan; single-storey
with attic; attached single-storey outbuilding at north end. West
front: scattered fenestration; gable to right with 6-panel fielded
door and small casement to left; single leaded attic casement over;
single-window fenestration to left, both leaded casements, attic in
raking dormer; outbuilding projects to left with west facing brick
gable. South side: central leaded casement with attic casement in
raking dormer over; further casement to left; central ridge-mounted
brick chimney with 3 engaged shafts. East: projecting gable end to
left with single leaded casement fenestration; exposed purlin ends;
rendered plinth; single-window fenestration to right, C19 casement
with part leaded raking dormer over; C20 glazed porch in angle;
brick service room to right. North end: gable end with projecting
brick stack and single-storey brick-built gabled service room;
larger outbuilding in lias extends to right.
Interior is completely timber framed; most external framing is
intact.
