Former farmhouse, now detached house. Late C17; early C19
addition. Random and coursed rubble limestone; rebuilt artificial
stone chimneys; plain tile roof. Two-storey with attic; return
wing at east end to form L-plan. North front; C17 part has
doorway with hoodmould at right end with 6-panel door; single-
light over with hood. Chamfered mullioned casements with hoods to
left, 2-light and 3-light; timber mullioned casement to upper
floor. Door and windows with timber lintels to right in C19
addition. Ridge-mounted chimney at former west gable end of house.
East end: gable end of main range to right with single-window
fenestration; 3-light to ground and upper floors, 2-light with
oval above to attic, all casements having hoodmoulds. Side of wing
to left has 2-light to ground floor with hoodmould, and 3-light
above without. Rear: gable end of return wing projects to right
with attic level doorway having plank door and timber lintel. Rear
of main range has 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement
with hood; C20 casement over. Blocked small single-light to left
with hood. West end: gable with off-centre C19 and C20 casements.
Formerly 2 attic windows with timber lintels, one now blocked.
Rebuilt ridge-mounted chimney. Interior not inspected.
