Former detached house, later 2 houses, now unoccupied. Late C17.
Coursed rubble and random rubble limestone; ashlar chimney; stone
slate roof. Two-storey with attic. Attached outbuilding at south
west end is not of special interest. Front: 4-window fenestration
in coursed rubble, all timber cross windows with timber lintels
except left mullioned and transomed casement to left ground floor;
all now unglazed but some iron casements remain. Two central
doorways with plank doors and timber lintels. Two gabled roof
dormers. North east end: random rubble with gable-mounted
chimney. Some indications of former adjacent building. Rear:
random rubble with 2 upper floor cross windows. Lean-to additions
to ground floor. Building in dilapidated condition at time of
survey (December 1985).
