GV II

Former Primitive Methodist chapel, now Methodist church. 1856
(dated 1858). Limestone ashlar; Welsh slate roof. Rectangular.
South front: simple parapet gabled end with plain coping. Central
doorway with C20 glazed doors and C20 gabled porch. Flanking round
arched sashes with glazing bars. Central oval panel in gable with
raised border: 'PRIMITIVE METHODIST / CHAPEL / 1858 / ZION'. Clock
below. East side: 4 unequally-set round arched sashes with
glazing bars; coursed rubble plinth. North end: central round
arched sash window with glazing bars in parapet gabled end. Simple
interior. Forms part of group of buildings near The Pike (q.v.).
