15/122 Olde Pounde House


GV II

Formerly row of 3 houses, now detached house. Late C17. Random
rubble limestone; rebuilt rubble chimney; stone slate and
concrete tile roof. Two-storey with attic. Front: gable to
right with 2-window 3-light chamfered mullioned casement
fenestration with hoodmoulds; C20 replacements to ground floor.
Single 2-light attic casement with blocked oval above. Scattered
fenestration to left, mix of 2- and 3-light casements with
hoodmoulds. Central rubble-built porch with hipped roof and C20
door. South end: roughcast rendered with C20 casements. Off-
centre rubble chimney. North end: C20 restored mullioned
fenestration; blocked oval window above. Rear: gable to left
with blocked 2-light casement. Otherwise fenestration scattered,
generally 3-light to ground floor, 2-light above, many being C20
restorations. Interior not inspected.
