Assembly room. Late C18; early-mid C19 enlargement. Coursed
limestone rubble; red brick; brick chimney; asbestos slate roof.
Two-storey; main room on upper floor. Front: low-pitched parapet
gable. Central Venetian window with glazing bars to upper floor
has stone arch and lintels; doorway with timber lintel and plank
door below. South side: rubble with brick patching around 3 upper
floor segmental arched 4-pane C19 sashes. Brick extension to rear.
Interior not inspected. Building is linked to Crown and Anchor
Hotel which is not of special interest.
