16/196 Coach house at Woodchester House to
north east of Court Cottage

GV II

Coach house with flat. Late C18. Coursed rubble limestone;
limestone ashlar; stone slate roof. Two-storey. North front:
central ashlar feature with cornice to low-pitched gable having 3-
centred arched coach doorway with plank doors and oval arched
small-paned iron casement above. Round arched doorway to left
with plank stable doors and fanlight; coach doorway with timber
lintel to right. Two plain upper floor casements with timber
lintels. East gable end has blocked coach doorway, west casements
having timber lintels. Rear: various altered openings with
timber lintels. Upper floor 2-light recessed cavetto mullioned
fixed light, possibly reused from elsewhere. Interior not
inspected. Forms part of group with Court Cottage (q.v.) to south
west.
