4/218 Parkhill Cottage and Cornerways

II

Two attached houses. Late C18; early C19 addition. Coursed
rubble limestone; brick chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey
with attic; rear wing forms L-plan. West front (to Cow Lane):
2-window fenestration, chamfered mullioned with continuous
hoodmould to ground floor; 2-light casements to left, 4-light to
right to ground floor, 3-light above, all with leading. Central
doorway with stone lintel and 6-panel fielded door. Small central
gable. Two gabled roof dormers with C19 casements. Gable end
brick chimneys. South side: single-storey wing has cellar with
door and casement having stone lintels, and attic with 2 gabled
eaves-mounted dormers having C20 casements. Central doorway with
flanking segmental arched C20 casements. Rendered addition to
right with single-window C20 fenestration. Interiors not
inspected. Parkhill Cottage said to be un-restored.
