GV II

Formerly 3 houses in row, now 2. Early-mid C18. Coursed and
random rubble limestone with black pointed; brick chimneys; stone
slate roof. Two-storey with attic; small single-storey part at
south end. Front: 2-window fenestration to each house with mixed
timber casements; some upper floor iron casements, one with
leading to North Cottage. Timber lintels to all openings, that to
doorway on North Cottage combining with casement to right in former
door position; additional casement to right. Plank doors. Two
casements to single-storey part of South Cottage. Two raking roof
dormers. Ridge-mounted chimneys. Interior not inspected. Small
plate records restoration by Period Cottage Improvement Society in
1963.
