churchyard approximately 12m west
of churchyard entry steps

GV II

Pedestal tomb and 5 chest tombs. Late C17-late C18. Limestone.
Group comprises: pedestal tomb with finely carved architraves and
fret frieze, inscribed to RICHD. CAMBRIDGE, died 1756; 5 chest
tombs, 1 tall with corner pilasters, inscribed to NATHANIEL
CAMBRIDGE, died 1695, 1 plain with C17 inscribed verse to end, and
C18 altered opposite end inscribed to Richd. Lockey, died 1756;
and 3 lyre ended chest tombs, 1 inscribed to THOMAS SHURMUR, dated
1753, 1 inscribed to Hannah Shurmur, died 1787, and 1 with
anthropomorphic end cartouches, inscriptions illegible.
