Farmhouse. Late C18 with late C17 wing to front (west) forming L-
shape. Main range of brick on stone plinth, slate roof, brick end
stacks, that to south with stone capping. Older wing of rubble
stone, slate roof, one large brick stack. Brick stable wing to
north with slate roof of no special interest. 2 storeys, L-shape.
On main range, 3 bays, 2 windows, cambered head 3-light with
central casement, each light with 8 panes. Large stone keystone and
voussoirs. Ground floor similar with central doorcase with cambered
wood hood on stone brackets, keystone and voussoirs over 6-panel
door with fielded panels. Stone range has C20 door and timber
porch in angle. On west gable, one window to each floor, first
floor still with original 5-light splayed stone mullion with long
wood lintel. Ground floor has similar size opening with 4 replaced
8-pane lights. Rear of main range has 4 small louvred openings
under eaves for cheese drying, and several cambered head bricked-
up openings.
