4/45 Footbridge over Berkeley Pill
on Berkeley Castle Estate.

Footbridge. Late C18/early C19. Ashlar. Round arch about 8m wide
and 3m above water level at keystone. Even stone voussoirs and
enlarged dropped keystone. Offset and blocking course, with
additional course and coping to corners (coping missing to south
east). On east side of arch, wooden flood gates and iron machinery
to control them. Pathway about 1.5m wide, total width of bridge
about 2.5m.
