10/63 Smyth and two unidentified monuments
about 19m north west of north porch
door in churchyard of Church of St.
Mary the Virgin.

Group of 3 chest tombs; 2 end tombs unidentified, late C17, centre
tomb to Robert Smyth, early C18. Limestone, to south with curved
top and no visible plinth, other 2 with flat tops and moulded
plinth and capping. End 2 have plain sunk end panels and sides
divided into 2 similar. Smyth has lyre ends with low relief
acanthus returns and small oval panels, inset to east with eroded
device. Sides have small rectangular inscription panels with
flanking stylized foliage strips. All 3 partially overgrown at
time of survey (November 1984).
