Detached house. Mid/late C18. Brick on stone plinth with
alternating quoins, plat bands and moulded cornice in stone, slate
roof with parapet to ends and raised coped verges swept up to meet
brick end stacks with moulded stone cornice. Single front range of
3 storeys with 2 rear single-storey wings. Symmetrical, 3 windows,
9-pane sashes to second floor, 12-pane sash to centre on first
floor with flanking Venetian sashes and similar below. All windows
with plain stone architrave and keystone. Central moulded stone
doorcase with recessed 6-panel door up 2 stone steps, top 4 panels
fielded, lower 2 flush, with large decorative radial fanlight set
into rectangular frame. Some original glass remains.
