12/45 Barn at Alkerton Farm

Large barn. Probably C17. Timber-framed with brick infill on
stone plinth, with C20 roof timbers and corrugated iron roof, of 5
bays. Partition wall of square panel timber-framing with vertical
wide boarding on outside links with large coursed stone end of barn
to right hand side, with flight of brick steps up to raking loft
door opening, and with 2 cambered head lights flanking cambered
head stable door to right. Timber-framed section of barn has large
renewed double timber doors in centre. Small brick lean-to to
left.
