Small house, built as 2 units and formerly several cottages,
attached on north side to a later house. Core of late C16, with
addition to left (west) probably of early/mid C18. Square panel
timber-framing with brick infill to core with concrete tile roof,
brick to addition with double Roman tile roof, with large external
brick stack to south side of both, with rebuilt flues. Single
range, single storey and attic. Core has small C20 two-light to
right of stack, C20 glazed porch over door to left and wide gabled
dormer on eaves above with two small 2-light casements. Later
section has raking 2-light dormer on eaves and 2 cambered head
lights to ground floor. Right hand return has later brick facing.
Main room in core has compartmented chamfered beam ceiling with
curved brackets to central beam, and large timber bressumer
fireplace.
