Nethermills Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Possibly late C17 core, altered and enlarged to west in
late C19. Brick, with rendered wing to west, steeply pitched tile
roof, brick end stack on gable to street with 2 large square flues
and decorative caps, brick gable end stack to small projecting
wing, possibly stair turret, on east side. Main range with gable
to street of 2 storeys and attic, with wing to west forming L-
shape, of 2 storeys and porch in angle with catslide roof. Street
gable end has blocked single stone light with square hoodmould,
possibly for newel stair. Fenestration altered to remainder, with
large 3-light wood mullions and transoms adjoining porch.
