Detached house, including shop and post office on ground floor.
Late C18/early C19. Brick, concrete tile roof, painted moulded
cornice and dentils with stepped 2-brick string below, brick end
stacks with moulded caps. Single range of 3 storeys, with 2-
storey rear range to right, single storey to left. Three windows,
12-pane sashes to second floor (4 over 8), 16-pane to first, all
with large painted keystone and voussoirs. Ground floor has
inserted canted bay shop windows, possibly of C19, and central
moulded wooden doorcase with slightly projecting segmental pediment
and half-glazed door. Small single-storey wing to right with
large 8-pane window contains post-office.
