Detached cottage. Probably C17, altered in C19 and C20. Originally square panel timber-framing with brick-infill now exposed only to front gable to left, rest brick, artificial stone slate roof, grouped brick flues on ridge in centre, partially rebuilt. On plinth. Small L-shape of single storey and attic probably originally with lobby entry in angle, angle now joined to extended roof of gable to form porch. Leaded wooden 2 or 3-light casements. C20 plank door. Interior not accessible but may be of interest.
Although much altered this cottage forms part of a group at a wide section of The Street.
