4/181 Pool Cottage
II
Detached cottage. Probably mid/late C17. Square panel timber-
framing on stone plinth with brick infill partly painted, brick and
stone on right hand return, stone forming base for stack. Steep
pitched tile roof formerly thatched, brick end stack to right
external to left. Single small range of single storey and attic
with small lean-tos to both sides. Small 4-pane casements, 3 to
ground floor with plank door to left of centre. One similar to
first floor left and one 4-light raking dormer to right through
eaves.
