SO 9005 BISLEY-WITH-LYPIATT CHURCH HILL, Bisley Village
(north side)

13/20 Sinegar House and garden railings

GV II

Formerly 2 houses, now house on end of row. Early-mid C18;
partially rebuilt mid C19. Random rubble limestone; rendered and
concrete block chimneys; stone slate to front roof slopes,
concrete plain tile to rear. East part 2-storey with attic; west
part 2-storey. South front: main part to right rebuilt in C19.
Three-window fenestraton, outer 3-light chamfered mullioned
casements; tall central upper floor mullioned and transomed
casement with decorative leading and coloured glass. C20 stone
porch with gablet to hipped roof. Lower part of rebuilding to left
has 2 and 3-light chamfered mullioned casements. East side:
crosswing at end of building with single tripartite sash to each
floor. Roof hipped in north east corner. Two ridge-mounted
chimneys. Dressed stone in south east corner inscribed 'SENEGAR
SQUARE'. Interior not inspected. Important position on street
corner.
