SO 9005 BISLEY-WITH-LYPIATT CHURCH HILL, Bisley Village

13/22 Prospect Cottage

GV II

Detached house. Late C17. Random rubble limestone; ashlar
chimneys; concrete tile roof. Two-storey. East front: 2-window
fenestration, two 2-light in original positions to upper; 3-light
to ground floor with central 2-light in original door position, all
chamfered mullioned leaded iron casements with hoodmoulds. C20
inserted doorway to right with glazed gabled porch addition. Gable
end chimneys with cavetto and chamfered caps. South end: base of
projecting chimney stack corbelled out at mid height; inserted
mullioned casements to left. C20 two-storey rear wing is not of
special interest. Interior not inspected. Although altered,
Prospect Cottage holds important position adjoining churchyard and
Church House (q.v.).
