Four ledger slabs. Early-mid C18. Limestone; brass plates.
Single plate to each slab, one slab with later additional plates.
Large slabs have plates to members of Damsell family, from north to
south to ANNE the Wife of SAMUEL DAMSELL, died 1754; Samuel
Damsell, died 1722; Elizabeth Damsell, died 1722. Smaller slab
with plate inscribed to Sarah the Daughter of William Garder, died
1715. A group displaying several early examples of this local
tradition.
