Milestone approximately 10m south east of Lock-up

Milestone. Mid-late C18. Limestone with brass plate. Rectangular
post with rounded top. Plate inscribed: 'X MILES / TO / GLOSTER'.
Also carries name of engraver 'CLISSOLD'. Mileage indicated is
that taken along old direct route via Painswick, now mostly
abandoned.
