4/113 Barn at Stancombe Ash Farm

GV II

Barn. Mid-late C18. Random rubble limestone; stone slate roof.
Six-bay barn with west porch and outshut; cartshed at south end.
Central west porch with hipped roof, plank doors and timber lintel.
Single-storey lean-to to right with plank door. Slit vents to
barn. Cartshed at south end now with vertical plank infill and
small-paned casement; outshut to rear. Central doorway to east
side with plank door and timber lintel. Interior: 6-bay collar
and tie-beam truss roof.
