SO 90 SW BISLEY-WITH-LYPIATT TUNLEY

7/129 Barn approximately 30m west of
Hillhouse Farmhouse

Barn. Late C18. Random rubble limestone; stone slate roof.
Four-bay barn with granary loft over west porch. Central gabled
porch on west side with heavy timber lintel to doorway; small loft
opening with timber lintel over. Loft doorway with timber flight
of steps on north side of porch. Later outshuts now removed.
Central barn doorway on east side with timber lintel and plank
doors. Attached outbuildings running east are not of special
interest. Loft openings to each gable end; owl hole to south end.
Interior: 4-bay collar and tie-beam truss roof with 2 tiers of
purlins. Loft to porch with lath and plaster interior.
