13/7 Vine Farmhouse

GV II

Detached farmhouse. Early-mid C17, extensively rebuilt c1700.
Random and coursed rubble limestone; ashlar chimney; stone slate
roof. Two-storey with attic; single-storey addition at west end.
Front: 3-window fenestration, all 3-light cavetto mullioned with
leaded iron casements, one to ground floor altered by later
addition of doorway. Two other doorways with stone lintels;
various C20 doors. High-level eaves. Ridge-mounted chimney.
Ends: west roughcast rendered with 3-light attic casement; single-
storey addition has bread oven projection with small gable.
Original line of gable visible on east end; small blocked stair-
light. Flat roofed addition to rear is not of special interest.
Interior not inspected. Stable and cartshed to south east (q.v.).
