Detached house. Dated HEC 1704; extended mid-late C18. Random
rubble limestone; rendered brick and ashlar chimneys; stone slate
roof. Two-storey with attic; rear wing forms L-plan. South front:
2-window fenestration to ground floor, both 2-light chamfered
mullioned casements with hood moulds, hood to right window extended
over dated stone door lintel; C20 glazed door. Upper floor 2-light
to right. Central gabled roof dormer with C20 casement. East
side: gable end of original house to left with off-centre 2-light
ground floor casement; 3-light casement to rear wing, both with
hood moulds.
Interior not inspected. Possibly the oldest house in this largely
C18 squatter settlement.
