Formerly 3 attached houses, now 2. Part early C18 house;
remainder of row and main house added early Cl9. Coursed and
random rubble limestone; ashlar and concrete block rebuilt
chimneys; concrete tile roof. No 1: 2-storey with attic house.
No 2: 2-storey former row, projecting forward forming yard. Front
of No 1: 2-window fenestration, all 3-light chamfered mullioned
casements. Central round arched doorway with plank door and
fanlight. Ridge-mounted chimneys. South-facing row: later house
to right has 2-light chamfered mullioned casement to each floor,
left of doorway with stone lintel and C20 glazed door. C20
restored single-light casements to right. Mixed fenestration to
earlier house to left, probably altered in late C18. One fixed-
light to upper floor retains leading. Interiors not inspected.
Forms part of group with Grey Cot (q.v.) and France Cottage (q.v.).
