13/30 Upland House including boundary wall
with doorway and spring outlet

Detached house with boundary wall. Mid C18, remodelled c1850.
Coursed and random rubble limestone, stucco faced to south-west and
south-east elevations; ashlar and artificial stone chimneys;
concrete tile roof. Two-storey; double-pile plan. South west
front: 4-window fenestration, all 4-pane sashes in plain keyed
surrounds. Off-centre flat-roofed single-storey porch with glazed
side door, moulded architraves and plain parapet. Moulded cornice
and plain parapet returning to south east side with 3-window
fenestration, all 4-pane sashes with moulded architraves. Small
timber conservatory to ground floor with modillion eaves cornice.
Rear: mixed sash fenestration in elevation of several dates.
Eaves-mounted ashlar chimney. Boundary wall to east includes round
arched tufa doorway and large niche with spring outlets.
Interior not inspected.
