Detached house. Late C17 with early and late C18 additions.
Random and coursed rubble limestone; brick rebuilt chimneys;
Welsh slate and corrugated iron roof. Two-storey with attic, upper
floor added to north end; 2-storey east addition forms L-plan.
West front: original house to right with 2-light recessed
chamfered mullioned casement in original doorway to left, later
inserted central doorway with 6-panel door below 2-light upper
floor casement. Later addition to left with 3-light ground floor
and 2-light middle floor casements, later top floor with timber
casement and low-pitched corrugated iron roof. South end: gable
end to original house with single-window fenestration, 3-light to
ground and upper floor, 2-light to attic. Late C18 or early C19
addition to right with timber casements and lintels; glazed
conservatory porch. Top floor-level plank door at north end, built
against high-level road. Interior not inspected.
