11/54 Boundary wall with 2 gateways to
west of Church of St John the
Baptist

GV II

Wall with 2 gateways. c1855, probably by G.F. Bodley. Ashlar
limestone; wrought iron gates. Plain wall with weathered top
coping, stepped in places. Large gateway to south west of church
has gabled pier tops with inset cross and iron overthrow frame for
lamp (lamp itself now missing); double railed gates. Smaller
gateway to north west of church with octagonal topped piers and
railed gate.
