11/55 Nos 1 and 2, The Glen

II

Two houses in row. Early C18; late C18 alterations. Random
rubble limestone, roughcast to front; concrete block rebuilt
chimneys; stone slate and concrete tile roof. Two-storey with
attic; rear outshut. Front: 5-window fenestration, all 2-light
chamfered mullioned casements with hoodmoulds. Two doorways with
lean-to porch additions and C20 doors. Three ridge-mounted
chimneys with chamfered caps. Attic casements in gable ends, east
end with indications of possible lower original roofline. C20
casements to rear outshut. Interior not inspected.
