13/71 Canal overflow weir in garden to
west of Canal Round House
Overflow weir. c1785. Dressed limestone, brick facing to weir
slope. Narrow canal outlet sluice feeding wide sloping weir
chanelled into a pipe. Now in garden of Canal Round House (q.v.),
built to take canal overflow water to nearby River Frome.
