13/73 Belvedere Mill

II

Former cloth mill, now offices. Early C19. Coursed rubble
limestone; Welsh slate roof. Three-storey with attic; 3-storey
wing on east side. East side: 5-segmental arched small paned
casements to each floor; large brick-lined round arch to mill
stream to right. Attached sluice gate apparatus to left. South
side: 2 gables to main block, each with single-window segmental
arched casement fenestration below. Rear wing set back to left has
step in roof at mid point. North side: 2 gables to main block
with largely C20 altered windows and infill below. Rear wing has
large segmental archway. Interior not inspected. Picturesque
position next to mill pond. Also known as Tayloe's Mill from its
C18 owners.
