10/88 Franklin and Suffield Cottage

II

Two houses in row. Early C18; later C18 addition. Random rubble
limestone; ashlar and brick rebuilt chimneys; asbestos slate
roof. Franklin: 3-storey with attic. Suffield Cottage: 2-storey
with attic. West side: range of 3-light chamfered mullioned
casements to Franklin. Two 2-light upper floor casements to
Suffield Cottage, ground floor obscured by C20 flat roofed addition
which is not of special interest. Two ridge-mounted chimneys.
South end: doorway in flat-topped square projection, C20 door.
Single-window fenestration above, 3-light to upper floors, single
attic light. East side: 2-window fenestration, all 3-light.
Interior not inspected.
