GV II
Gates, gate piers and railings. c1840. Ashlar limestone piers;
wrought iron gates. Main gateway flanked by short length of
railings, outer sections with convex splay. Six piers have plain
plinths and hollow moulded caps with stepped coping, central piers
with domical top and scrolled overthrow to support lamp. Gothic
ironwork to gates. Spear topped railings.
